We at Professor Charles Effiong Foundation believe that young people are the most productive group of persons and their empowerment to gain entrepreneurial skills will lead to optimum development. Our E-PaY (End Poverty among Young People) project aims at:
Leadership Development
Raising leaders in children is one of our core activities. The Foundation’s leadership club in secondary schools was born out of a desire to establish primary leadership attributes in the lives of children.
The leadership club;
- Builds creative problem solving attitudes and skills in members
- Builds children who are able to communicate and present effectively
- Build positive attitudes amongst children
- To build children who can take ownership of circumstances and facilitate solutions
- Build children who make right, sound and timely decisions
- Encourage children turn weaknesses into strengths
Entrepreneurship Development
We at Professor Charles Effiong Foundation believe that young people are the most productive group of persons and their empowerment to gain entrepreneurial skills will lead to optimum development.
Our E-PAY (End Poverty Among Youths) project aims at;
- Providing young people (17-25 years/secondary school graduates) with vocational skills
- Educating beneficiaries on basic business principles
- Placing beneficiaries in internship programmes
- Providing them with start-up packs
