The Professor Charles Effiong Foundation has been working to provide educational support, health care and protection to vulnerable children and groups in communities in the southern part of Cross River State
The Foundation’s leadership club in secondary schools was born out of a desire to establish primary leadership attributes in the lives of children.
According to UNICEF(2014), About 60% of children in Nigeria have experienced either one or more types of violence. We protect our children, we facilitate birth registrations for all children in the programme.
Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC): We Provide help and support to Orphaned and Vulnerable Children by roviding basic services to children as well as build the caring capacity of the caregiver to provide these basic needs for the children and household without external assistance.
Raising leaders in children is one of our core activities. The Foundation’s leadership club in secondary schools was born out of a desire to establish primary leadership attributes in the lives of children.
